Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool is the first Premier League fixture of Matchday 5 and lineups for Saturday’s clash at Wembley Stadium are out.

Looks like Spurs are trotting out in a variation of the 4-4-2 system, with Michel Vorm continuing to deputise between the sticks and has a back-four of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose.

Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele, Harry Winks and Christian Eriksen feature in midfield while Lucas Moura partners Harry Kane up top.

Liverpool are retaining their 4-3-3 system, with no surprises in their XI barring the absence of skipper Jordan Henderson.

Naby Keita replaces the Englishman and will have James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum for company in the middle of the park while their big guns–Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah–all start up front.

At the back, it’s the calming presence of Alisson, with Virgil van Dijk marshalling a defence that also features Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

Spurs were riding high until Watford stung them on Matchday 4, but at home they are expected to clinch the tie against their direct rivals.

Table toppers Liverpool had a poor record against the top six last season and if they wish to seriously challenge Manchester City for the title, now is the time to stand up and be counted for.

Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm, Trippier, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose, Winks, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Moura and Kane (C).

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Milner (C), Salah, Mane and Firmino.

Match kicks off at 1700 IST.
