Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian archery team on Monday on their outstanding performance at the Asian Archery Championships 2025, held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The team brought home a record 10 medals, including 6 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze, marking India’s best-ever performance.

Men’s Recurve Team: Atanu Das, Rahul, and Yashdeep Bhoge won gold, defeating South Korea 5-4 in a thrilling shoot-off.
Women’s Recurve Individual: Ankita Bhakat secured gold, beating Korea’s Nam Su-hyeon 7-3.
Men’s Recurve Individual: Dhiraj Bommadevara claimed gold, defeating compatriot Rahul 6-2.
Compound Mixed Team: Abhishek Verma and Deepshikha won gold, beating Bangladesh 153-151.
Compound Women’s Team:Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep, and Deepshikha secured gold, defeating Korea 236-234.
