Recent reports from a section of the media reveal that Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford might have injured himself with his knee-slide celebration after he scored a brilliant free kick against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. Reports also add that the England International might not be available for selection because of his injury and might end up missing Manchester United’s crucial game against Bournemouth.
Notably, Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had claimed earlier that the youngster is expected to regain fitness for Saturday’s match. However, according to a report carried by The Sun, Rashford might have injured his knee during his celebration and chances are that he may not feature in the game against Bournemouth at all.
“We’re playing football, it’s not basketball. Some of them are sore, but you should be absolutely down on your knees after a game of football because it’s worth it when you win a game,” Solskjaer said in a post-match interview with the team’s official website.

“They [Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire] are quick healers and let’s hope they’re ready for Saturday. Three away wins in a week when you haven’t won in a while. At least that talk about us not winning away from home is gone.
