If statistics are to be believed, Premier League giants Manchester United’s star player Marcus Rashford has proved to be more talented than former United player and an absolute legend of the game Cristiano Ronaldo. His statistics are better than Thierry Henry too. The statistics, however, are complied only till 21 years of age.
The 21-year-old Rashford has played a total of 171 matches till now in his career and has 47 goals to his name. 29 of these have come in the Premier League alone, six came in the FA Cup while three came in EFL Cup and nine in other European leagues like the Champions League and the Europa League.
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo had scored 32 goals in 170 matches by the age of 21. Ronaldo had 21 goals in the Premier League, eight in the knockout FA Cup and two in the EFL Cup and a solitary goal in European competition.
Thierry Henry had scored 27 goals by the time he had turned 21. Thus, if statistics are to be believed Rashford is a better footballer and frequent goal scorer at 21. However, there is a long time to go before we can consider him as one of the finest talents in world football.
