Manchester United have looked far from their best in the season so far and only seemed to have carried their poor form from last season to this one. The Red Devils finished at the sixth place in the Premier League last season and consequently failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

However, despite a forgettable performance from the standards they have set for themselves, one player reportedly still managed to get a performance bonus.

According to a report carried by The Sun, former Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez who scored just a couple of goals in 27 outings for the Red Devils still managed to bag a whopping £5 Million bonus as a bonus. The Chile international has reportedly received this amount on top of his weekly salary.

After a poor stint with the Manchester United, he has moved to Inter Milan where he is joined by another former Manchester United teammate Romelu Lukaku. Both Romelu Lukaku and Sanchez have already scored for their new team in Italy. While Lukaku has scored five goals, the Chilean international has scored just one.

However, Sanchez has picked up an injury while on national duty. He is expected to regain fitness by the end of 2020.
