Serie A : AS Roma fires Jose Mourinho after falling to AC Milan

Jose Mourinho has confirmed both Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba will be included Manchester United’s matchday squad for their UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla on Tuesday night, but admitted the latter might not start against the Rojiblancos.
Despite Pogba not being pictured during Monday’s training in the morning, Mourinho revealed the Frenchman had joined the session later on.
“He (Pogba) did (train) after you left,” Mourinho told the press on Monday.

“I don’t know. We don’t know yet, but he trained a little bit after you left,” the Portuguese tactician responded when asked whether the club-record signing would be facing the Spanish outfit or not.
Pogba pulled up in training on Friday, on the eve of a massive Premier League clash with arch-rivals Liverpool, a tie which the Red Devils managed to win 2-1 to strengthen their grip on second spot.
Martial has been missing in action since United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on February 25 but it remains to be seen whether the pacey Frenchman will start after Marcus Rashford’s goalscoring heroics against Liverpool on the weekend.
United’s tie against Sevilla is evenly poised after the first leg in Seville ended in a 0-0 draw and while the Spanish side will be backing themselves to progress at the expense of the English giants, the Red Devils are favourites to win the tie and make the quarters.
The Red Devils were slammed for their unadventurous style of play in the first leg, with goalkeeper David de Gea saving their bacon a number of occasions with a string of fine saves while his opposite number remained untested.
A loss, however, would be disastrous for Mourinho’s men as the big-spenders are among the dark horses in the the continental competition and are expected to reach the last-four, at least.
Considering United were slight underdogs against Liverpool, yet managed to prevail, will embolden them to take the game to Sevilla on Tuesday night but it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will prevail.
