IPL 2026: Mumbai Indians suffer double blow as Quinton de Kock, Raj Angad Bawa ruled out for season
Mumbai Indians have confirmed that Quinton de Kock and Raj Angad Bawa have been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to wrist and thumb injuries, respectively.

Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians thrashed Ravichandran Ashwin’s Kings XI Punjab in a thriller and sharpened their chances to qualify for the IPL play-offs in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai, on Wednesday.

Here is the stats review of Wednesday’s match:
1- Kings XI Punjab had lost only one wicket till the end of the 16th overs yet they ended up losing the game by three runs – this happened for the first time in the history of the league.
2- In IPL 2018 so far, three-time KXIP speedster Andrew Tye had taken four wickets haul – highest by any bowler in a single edition of the league.
3- Two times, KXIP’s wicket-keeper batsman Lokesh Rahul has ended on losing side despite scoring 90+ runs. Other than Rahul no other batsman has suffered this fate.
4- Punjab’s Lokesh Rahul has scored 468 runs in IPL 2018 while chasing any target – Highest by any batsman in a single season. The previous record was held by David Warner, he had scored 468 runs in IPL 2016.
5- On Wednesday, Mumbai Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah conceded zero number of boundaries in his four overs and by doing so become first ever cricketer to achieve this unique feat.
