The Indian Premier League players’ mega auction is going to take place on 27 and 28 January in Bangalore. More than 500 players, in which 360 players are Indian and 218 are foreigners, will go under the hammer during the event and 198 players can be picked by all the franchises in the auction.

A team can spend a total of Rs 80 crore on buying the players.  Every single IPL team can have maximum 27 players in their team in which nine can be foreigners.
