Indian women’s cricket team to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against England at home

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday said the Women-in-Blue would play a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against England as part of the ICC Women’s Championship. The ODI series will kickstart on February 22, and the series opener will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The ODI series between India and England will be followed by a three-match T20 International series in Guwahati starting March 4.

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India and England & Wales Cricket Board announce the schedule for the upcoming Paytm home series of the India women’s team against England,” BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary said.

The series will comprise three ODIs that will start from 9 am (IST) and three T20Is which will start at 10 am (IST).

All three limited overs games will be played at the Wankhede. The second and third ODIs will be played on February 25 and 28, respectively.

Meanwhile, the T20 games will be played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 4, March 7 and March 9.

The England women cricket team will play a warm-up game against BP XI on February 18 at the Wankhede stadium.
