Defending champions India will take on Namibia in the 18th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday, February 12.
Suryakumar Yadav-led India opened their campaign with a 29-run win over the USA. Despite a wobble after losing quick wickets, skipper Suryakumar held his nerve to guide India to a competitive total, which proved enough for the bowlers to secure victory. India will look to maintain momentum and fine-tune their middle order ahead of their highly anticipated clash against Pakistan on February 15.

Namibia, meanwhile, are searching for their first official win of the tournament. They suffered a seven-wicket defeat to the Netherlands at this same venue, where Bas de Leede starred with an all-round performance, picking up two wickets and scoring an unbeaten 72 off 48 balls to anchor the chase. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton top-scored for Namibia with 42 runs. The African side, however, did beat Scotland by six runs in a warm-up match and will be keen to bounce back.
