The second Test match of five-match series between India and England was scheduled to kickstart on Thursday (9 August). However, the first day of the game was called off due to rain pouring on the ground.

Meanwhile, as per reports, the playing XI of both teams (India and England) has been leaked, as screenshots of the official scoresheet for the second Test have been doing the rounds on the internet. And if the leaked pictures of playing XI to be believed, Virat Kohli-led Indian side will be going ahead with an unchanged playing XI from the Edgbaston Test.

However, Joe Root has opted to go with fast bowler Chris Woakes over all-rounder Moeen Ali as Ben Stokes replacement.

Earlier, after the heartbreaking loss in the first Test, Virat Kohli had admitted that he was tempting to play two spinners on this wicket. However, the rain on Thursday would have surely made Virat Kohli change his mind.
