Megastar Tennis Player, Novak Djokovic received a heroic welcome from his fans as he made a comeback to Adelaide International in Australia. The Serbian star had previously expressed his hope as to receive a huge welcome on his return at The Adelaide International on Monday.

The 21 times Grand Slam Champion suffered a loss along with his Canadian Partner Vasek Pospisil by 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 against Tomislav Brkic and Gonzalo Escobar, on his return to Australia for the very first time since he won the 2021 Australian Open.

Djokovic fans chanted “Novak Novak” when he walked onto the court. Previously, Novak, after a controversy relating to his vaccination status and his anti-vax statements, was held over by the Australian Border Force.

He was later handed over a three-year ban on entering into Australia last year in January. Recently, the immigration Minister Andrew Giles overturned the ban and allowed Novak to participate in different tournaments and enter the country.

The world No. 5 needs just 1 more title to equal the record of 22 Grand Slam Titles by Rafael Nadal.
