A place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final will be on the line when two-time champions France take on 2010 winners Spain in a blockbuster all-European semi-final at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday (IST).
France are bidding to reach a third consecutive FIFA World Cup final, while Spain, the reigning European champions, arrive with momentum after a string of impressive knockout performances.

Les Bleus topped their group with victories over Senegal, Iraq and Norway before cruising past Sweden in the Round of 32. They then overcame Paraguay in the Round of 16 and produced another commanding display to knock out Morocco in the quarter-finals.
With Kylian Mbappe leading the attack, France will be aiming to continue their remarkable run on the biggest stage.
Spain’s campaign began with a surprise goalless draw against Cabo Verde, but Luis de la Fuente’s side have grown stronger with every game.
La Roja recovered to top Group H with wins over Saudi Arabia and Uruguay before comfortably defeating Austria in the Round of 32.
Substitute Mikel Merino proved to be Spain’s knockout hero, scoring late winners against both Portugal and Belgium to send his side into the last four.
