Premier League giants Manchester United almost clinched victory against UEFA Champions League winner Liverpool before settling for a draw. However, the fans apparently want Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make defender Harry Maguire the new captain of the team. The defender has attracted a lot of praise after Manchester United curtailed the visiting side to a draw in the Premier League encounter on Sunday.
Harry Maguire later posted on Twitter stating, “We’re in this together” along with a picture in which the team was celebrating Marcus Rashford’s opening goal.

Fans in the comment section expressed their desire to see Harry as captain.
“Future captain. Should be the skipper now imo,” one user responded to the tweet.
“Someone give him the armband,” added another user.
“Well said, Harry! You’re a big part of our future success and we’re behind you man,” tweeted another.
“El Capitano,” yet another user stated.
Another Manchester United responded, “My captain.”
Notably, Ashley Young is the current skipper of the Manchester United team after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the appointment during the summer prior to the start of the season.
