England earn historic Test series victory in Pakistan 3-0.

England have clinched the Test series by 3-0 against Pakistan on Tuesday outplaying the hosts on their own soil. The Team England performed exceptionally well throughout the series and dominated in all the departments of the game.

Pakistan suffered their first series whitewash at home as they lost to England in the third and final match of the series at National Stadium, Karachi.

On the 4th day of the third test, the visiting English team finished the game in just 38 minutes as they registered a dominant 8-wicket victory against the hosts.

Pakistan set forth a target of 168 runs in front of the visitors which they chased comfortably in just 28.1 overs.

Ben Stokes and Ben Ducket stayed on the crease till the end and scored 35 runs and 82 runs respectively. Ducket played a very sensible knock supported by the other end from the captain himself.

England began their day 4 on 112/2 with Ben Stokes playing at 15 while Ducket at 50. The duo made up a great partnership and led England to victory as they chased down the remaining 55 runs of the target in just 12 overs.

Earlier on the third day, Pakistan completely collapsed in the second innings as they lost 7 of their wickets in just 52 runs. Eventually, they were able to manage a measly target of 167 runs for the English men.

England’s debutant Spinner Rehan Ahmed grabbed the entire spotlight as he took a fifer putting up a remarkable performance. Rehan completely destroyed the Pakistan’s batting line up to become the youngest player to get a 5-wicket haul.

Harry Brook, who smashed a total of 468 runs in his 5 innings, was declared Player of the Series for scoring three tons.

Azhar Ali, who played the last match of his remarkable career, was applauded off the field for holding the souvenir stump. He played a total of 97 tests and scored 7,097 runs at an average of 42.49, which includes 19 centuries.
