Chelsea on Sunday managed to edge Manchester United 1-0 to keep their Premier League title hopes alive and star Blues winger Eden Hazard took a hilarious dig at his opponents with an Instagram post in the aftermath of their win at Stamford Bridge.

Today’s marking in my other day job was a little easier than against Man U! #cfc

Hazard, who came close to signing for Manchester United in 2012 but eventually chose to join Chelsea in the same transfer window, has been given extra attention by United players during their clashes in the past.

Last season, Red Devils midfielder Ander Herrera man-marked the Belgian winger out of the game as United ran out 2-0 winners at Old Trafford.

This time, while Hazard was not subject to man-marking, he was surrounded by a bevvy of United players almost each time he touched the ball.

While Hazard wasn’t able to affect the game as is his wont, Chelsea still managed to beat their rivals courtesy of a fine header by Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

The Blues, seeking to defend their Premier League title, are in fourth place at the moment, nine points behind leaders Manchester City.

After missing pre-season due to an ankle surgery, the 26-year-old Hazard has shown flashes of returning to his best form and Blues fans will be hoping the mercurial winger can maintain the standard that is expected of him if they are to overhaul Man City in the coming months.

So far, Hazard has scored twice in the UEFA Champions League but just once in the Premier League.

Currently, club football is on a break as international matches are being played and Chelsea will resume their season on November 18, when they pay a visit to 16th-placed West Bromwich Albion.

Belgium play Japan and Mexico in international friendlies as they have already booked their place at last year’s World Cup and Hazard has been called up by manager Roberto Martinez but is unlikely to feature in both games.
