Real Madrid star and their new major signing in the transfer window Eden Hazard is set to miss Real Madrid’s La Liga opening game against Celta de Vigo on Saturday owing to his leg injury.

“After the tests carried out following training today, Eden Hazard has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the anterior part of his right thigh,” the club said in a statement.

Although Real Madrid did not reveal for how long will Hazard be out of action but with his leg injury he will now have to wait for his Real Madrid debut in La Liga. Reports suggest that he will be out of football action at least for a few weeks. This implies that Hazard may be seen in Real Madrid colours only in the month of September but the reports await confirmation.

With Hazard being ruled out due to his injury, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will now be in a fix as far as selection is considered. Somebody like a Gareth Bale may be given opportunity instead.

James Rodriguez, Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Junior are other options that can be considered for selection.

Nonetheless, this is a massive blow to Real Madrid who had spent a huge amount to draft in Chelsea star Eden Hazard. Real would hope that Hazard is back on the field as soon as possible and starts performing for them.
