De Gea is the latest addition to the Manchester United side after a series of players like Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Andreas Pereira, all came to be drafted into the squad post the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the coach.

It is to be noted here that De Gea was expected to join Real Madrid a few years ago but ended up staying on with the team after a malfunctioned fax machine prevented the transfer.

Another player who has been found wanted by Real Madrid is Paul Pogba. However, Manchester United has stuck to its £150 million valuation of him.

On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku is convinced that he wants to leave Manchester United. He is optimistic that Inter Milan will come back again with a higher bid after their £54 million was rejected by Manchester United
