Premier League: Palmer, Mudryk help Chelsea beat Newcastle 3-2
Jackson put Chelsea ahead after just six minutes as he improved inside the penalty box to guode a low drive from Palmer into the corner of the Newcastle net.
A Chelsea fan was reportedly arrested during the English Premier League 2019-20 match between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday for racially abusing Son Heung-min.
It was the only arrest made by the police related to racism during the match which also saw Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger complaining that he was subjected to monkey chants.
While the abuse reported by Rudiger came during the second half and was apparent and witnessed by many, there was no immediate reaction during Son’s case and it is yet to be found when racism towards him happened.

Rudiger had complained regarding him being subjected to racial abuse in the second half after he was challenged by Son. The challenge which saw Son hitting Rudiger in the chest led to the South Korean being shown a red card and dismissed.
“Chelsea Football Club will not tolerate any form of racism, nor is there a place at this club for anyone who is found to have engaged in such behaviour,” Chelsea said in an official statement.
“If a season ticket holder or member is involved, we will take the strongest possible action against them including bans. We will also support any potential criminal proceedings by the relevant authorities,” the statement further read.
Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, have said that their investigation towards figuring the person who targetted Rudigar with racist chants has not yet fetched a result as they diverted their efforts to look into the abuse of Son.
“The club strongly condemns any such behaviour against any player and we will assist Chelsea and the relevant authorities in any way we can,” Tottenham said.
