Napoli outplayed Liverpool 2-0 at the San Paolo Stadium on Wednesday. Dries Mertens in the 82nd minute scored for the hosts after being awarded a penalty. Later, in the 90+2nd minute, Fernando Llorente scored another goal and locked a stunning defeat for the visitors.

Meanwhile, Ajax outplayed Lille OSC 3-0 at Amsterdam. Quincy Anton Promes drew the first blood for the home side. Then in the 50th minute, Edson Alvarez scored another goal which was followed by a goal from Nicolas Tagliafico in the 62nd minute.

At the Westfalenstadion, Dortmund played a goalless draw with Barcelona.

Riding on Timo Werner’s brace (in the 69th and 78th minute), RB Leipzig beat Benefica 2-1 at Estadio da Luz.

Meanwhile, the solitary goal from Rodrigo in the 74th minute helped Valencia defeat Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Erling Braut Halang’s hat-trick (in the 2nd, 34th and 45th minute) helped Red Bull thrash Genk 6-2 at the Red Bull Arena.

Talking about Tuesday, Inter Milan bounced back to play a 1-1 draw with Slavia Praha at San Siro. Peter Olayinka in the 63rd minute gave Slavia the lead, but Nicollo Barella in the additional minutes (90+2) played a leveller.

Meanwhile, Lyon played 1-1 draw with Zenit at the Lyon Olympic Stadium.
