Born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, Amitabh Bachchan has turned 75 today. Son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Kaur, the megastar was initially named Inquilaab, inspired by the phrase Inquilaab Zindabad which was popularly used during the Indian independence struggle.
