Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nisith Pramanik today said that the Trinamul Congress was committing a blunder by attacking the BJP leaders and workers in Cooch Behar. Mr Pramanik today visited Gitaldaha in Cooch Behar and met family members of the BJP leaders and workers at Narayanganj area, who were allegedly attacked.
Mr Pramanik was accompanied by Minority Morcha leader Ali Hossain and other religious leaders. Speaking to the reporters Union Minister Mr Pramanik said: “The TMC is committing a blunder by attacking the BJP leaders and by damaging houses of party workers without any valid reason. The more the TMC’s attacks, the stronger the BJP will be.
The TMC is helping the BJP indirectly. This is the beginning of the TMC’s end.” “I came to meet Mantu da, who is a senior leader of our party and has been strengthening party organisation since many days despite repeated threats from the TMC. We are always with such party leaders and workers,” Mr Pramanik said. “I will build a concrete house, if the TMC demolishes a hut of a party worker, for him. If they demolish a concrete house, I will give the victim a two storey building in Cooch Behar,” Mr Pramanik said.
