Ingredients:
Lauki 2 cups (grated)
Milk 1.5 litres (wholesome)
Sugar 5 tablespoons
Green cardamom 2 (powdered)
Almonds 15 (soaked and chopped)
Raisins 20 (washed)
Pistachio 10
Method:
Put milk in a deep thick bottomed pan.
Give a boil on high flame adding grated lauki and cardamom powder.
After a boil comes, cook this kheer on low flame for 45 minutes stirring occasionally.
Add sugar, give a good stir.
Cook for another 15-20 minutes on low flame.
Turn off flame, add almonds and raisins.
Garnish with chopped pistachios.
Serve chilled.
