Kaama: Fusion of flavours in toothsome fare

A unique restro-bar with handmade art on walls, an amphitheater, multi-level bar, two floors with beautiful outdoor seating to rejoice are what welcome guests at Kaama located in Ansal Plaza.

What makes evenings more interesting are the Sufi nights and ladies night.

Kaama combines food, culture, and entertainment with co-working space and an all-day dining section.

There is a wide space for DJ at the entrance and opposite to it is a multi-level bar.

The multi-cuisine menu is curated by the head Chef Anay Mukherjee with Indian designed burgers to delicious tikkas. The food is contemporary Indian with a perfect mix of spices.

The highlight of the meal for this reviewer was Hung Curd Kebab, which is one of the specialities of the chef. As the name suggests it is made of curd.

Naanzas, a spiced cottage cheese made from Indian flatbread with Makhani gravy and smoked mozzarella cheese, should be tried for its unusual flavour and if one has a special craving for pizzas.

Shawarma with hummus sauce was next on the plate. It was a tangy delight with vegetables and cottage cheese loaded. The cottage cheese was so soft that it melts right in your mouth.

Indian cottage cheese style nachos, which leave a delicious cheesy flavour on your tongue, was next.  The cheese melts well with the sauce and the nachos adds the perfect tangy flavour to the dish.

Kaama offers a glimpse of mixology for its beverage and mocktail menu. Brownie shake and Mojito orange flavours are recommended. For dessert, a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream can be lip-smacking.
