Preparing a dish using fresh pineapples is a tedious task. Maybe that’s the reason why tinned pineapples are so popular. And it’s also the reason why anyone claiming to have the perfect remedy to cut a pineapple easily finds takers. While there have been several pineapple hacks making this claim, the latest one to hit the world wide web is definitely the most convincing one.
Cutting a pineapple usually requires several steps and stages. You need to first slice off the spiky layer on the outside. You don’t need the inner core either, so have to get rid of that too. Until you successfully get pass these two steps, the fruit remains forbidden. And both these tasks are not easy to accomplish as you need to display some expert knife skills.
Nit any more. A recent video shared by one Dennis Naghizadeh, showing how to shred a pineapple, has gone viral on Twitter. The hack shown in the video definitely appears to be the easiest one so far. And guess what, you don’t even need a knife to extract some neat pieces of the sweet and tasty tropical fruit to snack on. All you need to do is cut off the top of the pineapple first. Now, use your hands to break down the fruit by pulling out long chunks off the inner core.

The video had recorded 4.76 million views and the post had seen more than 69,000 retweets and 168,465 ‘likes’ at the time of writing.
The user, @DenzBenzi, has declared himself the “Pineapple King Of Twitter!”.
Another video shared on TikTok some time ago also shows the same technique.
Both the videos go on to show that we have been eating pineapple the wrong way all our life.
