Customs seizes gold from three passengers at IGIA
Delhi customs have seized about 440 grams of gold from three passengers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Buying broom on the day of Dhanteras is very auspicious. It is believed that buying a broom on the day removes all the financial problems associated with the home. The broom purchased on this day should be used for worship on the day of Diwali.

Shopping of electronic items on Dhanteras is also considered auspicious. On this day, you can shop for mobile phones, laptops, ovens, fridges etc.
Coriander
It is believed that buying whole coriander on the day of Dhanteras brings happiness and peace to the house. While worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on Diwali, offer this whole coriander and keep it in your wallet.
Utensils
Buying utensils on this day is also a good sign. One can go for brass utensils, but silver or steel utensils can also work. After buying the utensil, keep it in the east direction of your house.

One can buy anything related to their business on this day. Worshipping these things on Diwali gives special benefits.
