BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who inaugurated the march, demanded that Devaswom Minister VN Vasavan resign, taking moral responsibility for the alleged Sabarimala temple gold theft.

Meanwhile, a BJP delegation led by Chandrasekhar met Governor Rajendra Arlekar on Monday and demanded a probe by a central agency into the Sabarimala temple gold theft case, stating that the ongoing investigation by the state police was unsatisfactory.

The delegation included BJP leaders Kummanam Rajasekharan, V. Muraleedharan, and PK Krishnadas.
