Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath slammed former CM Akhilesh Yadav on the issue of Muzaffarnagar riots and said that the Samajwadi party chief’s hands are stained with blood.

Adityanath was addressing a public rally with deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya at Ambheta peer in Gangoh assembly constituency of Kairana Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday to campaign in favour of party candidate Mriganka Singh.

He called upon the people to vote for the BJP candidate in Kairana for good governance and atmosphere of security in the region.

In his address the CM attacked Yadav alleging that the SP leader has no courage to face the people of western UP because his party is responsible for the killing of innocent people in the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots.

“The SP has given a candidate on rent in the election,” quipped Yogi referring to the alliance candidate Tabassum Hasan and called upon the masses to vote for BJP.

Elaborating on the achievements of his government, the CM recalled that when he took over charge the coffers of the state exchequer was empty and there was no money for salaries of government employees. He claimed that farmers were committing suicide while the youths were jobless.

“But we streamlined the system and brought changes improving upon the situation,” he stated, while promising that youths would soon get employment opportunities.

“We realised that all farmers have right to avail tube-well connections and thus sanctioned well connections to farmers, plans of which had been gathering dust since 1990,” claimed Adityanath.

“We are also giving uninterrupted power supply to all the districts across the state whereas earlier it was being given only to a few privileged districts,” he asserted.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya appealed to the people to ensure 100 per cent voting on 28 May, the day of polling. He promised that he would return with the CM to celebrate the victory of the election.
