Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday promised free electricity, free health services, excellent education, employment to youth and guarantee of Minimum Selling Price (MSP) on crops to farmers if the people of Madhya Pradesh gave just one chance to the AAP to form the government in MP in the upcoming State Assembly polls at the end of this year.

Officially sounding the AAP’s poll bugle through a party workers’ rally at the BHEL ground here this afternoon, Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Congress in Madhya Pradesh saying that the time has come to teach a lesson to both the parties that indulge in buying and selling MLAs without any remorse about trampling upon the verdict given by the helpless voters of MP.

Kejriwal said smilingly that the people have told him that the biggest problem of Madhya Pradesh is ‘Mama’. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan fondly refers to himself as ‘Mama.’ “Whether one gives vote to the BJP or the Congress, at the end the BJP only makes the government,” Kejriwal said.

He was referring to the 2020 incident when the then Congress’ Jyotiraditya Scindia along with 22 Congress MLAs rebelled against the Kamal Nath-led Congress government in MP and joined the BJP, leading to the fall of the government and the reinstatement of Shivraj Singh Chouhan again as the BJP CM of MP.

“The AAP has entered Madhya Pradesh now and things will change for the better for the people of MP,” Kejriwal assured.

“After independence, the Congress has ruled the country for 45 years and the BJP for 20 years. You people have given them enough chances to do some good, but they did not,” Kejriwal said.

“Now give just one chance to the AAP. If we do not deliver, I will never come to ask for your votes again,” He asserted.

“People say I am very stubborn. I say yes, I am stubborn….to achieve a corruption free India,” he said.

He said people have told him that when many unemployed youths held a demonstration in MP, the police dispersed them by force and hit them with canes.

“These youths did not come from Pakistan. They were our own. If you cannot give them jobs, at least treat them lovingly and humanly,” Kejriwal said.

Castigating the BJP for using personally defaming tactics against him, Kejriwal said PM Narendra Modi got two of his best AAP ministers, Satyendra Jain and Manish Sisodia, arrested on false charges of corruption.

“Using arm twisting tactics against all the opposition parties, the BJP acts like a ‘goonda’ of films and forces opposition leaders to either join the BJP or go to jail,” Kejriwal alleged.

“The BJP never stops anyone from corrupt activities, but only if they do it for Modi Ji’s party,” he added.

“Today, people of India can see that the AAP is the only party fighting against corruption and is immediately taking action against its own leaders, whenever necessary,” Kejriwal said.

He asserted that AAP will definitely form the government in Madhya Pradesh and called upon all workers present to work dedicatedly round the clock to achieve that aim.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders were also present at the function.

Kejriwal lauded the many good works done in Punjab by Mann within just one year of the formation of the AAP government in that state.
