A day before the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Monday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tejashwi alleged that PM Modi indulged in negative campaigning in the run-up to elections in Bihar.

Speaking in Patna, the Mahagathbandhan CM candidate said the PM had failed to give any roadmap for the state during his campaign. “What kind of songs PM Modi was singing in his rallies, I don’t know which web series he is watching these days. How does he get so much spare time to do all this?” Tejashwi said.

“The PM held so many meetings, he should at least give us a roadmap of how he will take Bihar forward in the next five years. Tejashwi distributes jobs here. The Prime Minister did not see the corruption and fraud of Samrat Chaudhary, Dilip Jaiswal, Mangal Pandey. Did the Prime Minister ask these people any questions? No one questions these people,” he added.

The RJD leader further slammed the PM for allegedly sharing the stage with notorious criminals and asked: “Does the Prime Minister consider Ullas Pandey, Manorama Devi, Anand Mohan, Sunil Pandey, Rajvallabh, and Anant Singh to be saints? The PM even issued a special pass for Vipin Sharma, the main accused in the Srijan scam, and called him to the airport and patted him on the back. If these people join the BJP, their sins will be washed away. Bathing in the Ganga is not guaranteed, whether your sins will be washed away or not… Whatever they do, there is a guarantee that their sins will be washed away…”

The RJD leader further said that the people of Bihar will not allow outsiders to control the state, and added that the Home Minister and other NDA leaders’ presence in Patna for many days shows it is a signal of defeat for them.

Tejashwi said that after November 14, there will be a change in Bihar, and the state will become the number one state in the country.

“With food-based units, proper systems for education, medicine, employment and irrigation, super-speciality hospitals, educational cities and IT hubs, no Bihari will need to go to another city,” he claimed.
