Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday said the state has recorded a 4.4 per cent reduction in unemployment due to increased employment opportunities.
Speaking at a function in Dehradun, Dhami stated that Uttarakhand has witnessed a record 4.4 per cent decline in unemployment.

He said this was made possible primarily through employment-oriented schemes and the investment-friendly environment created in the state over the past few years.
Dhami stressed that more than 30 policies have been implemented to promote investment in the state during the last few years.
“As a result, Uttarakhand has attracted investments worth ₹3.56 lakh crore over the past nearly three years, and projects worth nearly ₹1 lakh crore have already been grounded,” he said.
The Chief Minister called upon the youth of the state to join the mission of making India a developed nation by 2047. He said the country could become strong, prosperous, and self-reliant through the talent, hard work, and determination of its youth.
