Hundreds of women officials and workers of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee burned an effigy of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, who termed the girls at Jantar Mantar “gutter-like” (sluts).
The angry women burned Ranaut’s effigy at the Mall Avenue intersection and unanimously demanded that Ranaut apologise to the nation’s daughters.

“The BJP pretends to advocate for women’s reservation, while the nation’s promising daughters, who endured hunger and thirst at Jantar Mantar, police lathicharge, and government harassment, and forced the Modi government to demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, are being ignored,” the women said.

By calling these same brave daughters “gutter-like” and questioning their character, the BJP MP has exposed the BJP’s vile attitude towards women.
The BJP MPs, MLAs, and the Women’s Commission have remained silent today, which is shameful. It is an insult to the daughters of the entire nation, and the Congress Party will not tolerate it. The country is watching; when the time comes, the youth and daughters of the country will definitely respond.
