This historic event—the 19th National Jamboree—began today with registration, camping activities, and cultural programmes involving Scouts and Guides from across the country.

On the first day of the event, a 100-bed Jamboree Hospital and a blood donation camp were inaugurated. Hundreds of Scout tents, decorated in various national colours, transformed the Jamboree grounds into a global gathering space for Scouts and Guides.

Tents representing various countries and regions were painted in vibrant cultural themes, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity. The National Jamboree has become a platform for cultural exchange for Scouts from India and abroad.

On the first day, young Scouts displayed high levels of enthusiasm, energy and excitement. The event also offered them an opportunity to showcase their talents on a global stage.

Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak inaugurated the 100-bed Jamboree Hospital and the blood donation camp. Throughout the day, Scouts rehearsed for tomorrow’s grand opening ceremony and presented engaging cultural performances.

The Jamboree is not only fostering a spirit of social service and nation-building among Scouts and Guides, but is also enhancing the global recognition of Indian Scouting.

The opening ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. After the Governor’s address, a parade of Scouts and cultural performances will be held. Following the inauguration, a drone show based on national themes will light up the evening.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in the cultural evening on November 25.

A variety of competitions and cultural programmes will continue throughout the Jamboree before it concludes on November 29.
