Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh prayed at the Ram temple and Hanumangarhi on Wednesday.
Amidst chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and other mantras, the Defence Minister and Chief Minister, after performing the rituals, hoisted the religious flag on the spire of the Maa Annapurna Temple.

Both the leaders prayed at the Hanumangarhi temple. Then, the Defence Minister and Chief Minister went directly to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. There, they offered prayers at the Shri Ramlala temple and Ram Darbar, performed the aarti, and circumambulated the temple.
Rajnath Singh arrived in Ayodhya on Wednesday morning to participate in the Pratishtha Dwadashi programme. He was welcomed by Chief Minister Adityanath at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
After offering prayers, when the Defence Minister and Chief Minister came out of the temple, devotees greeted them with chants of “Jai Shri Ram.”
Chief Minister Adityanath waved to the crowd and affectionately blessed the children. The entire complex was filled with an atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm.
