UP Assembly: IIT Kanpur experts give AI training to UP MLAs

A brief training session was organized in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Sunday to train MLAs about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Experts from IIT Kanpur gave detailed information during the workshop.

During this workshop, the MLAs were given special information to try smart tools that help in legal research, document verification and study of policies.

The use of AI will also help MLAs to use AI in making laws, creating new bills, detecting legal problems and comparing proposed laws with similar laws of other states and countries.

The experts were called to train the MLAs in AI. The training session lasted for about two hours in which experts shared information. According to the information, the app of the state assembly will also be based on AI.

Apart from identifying the members at the entrance and recording their attendance, AI will also help the members find suitable reference material for their speech in the House.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana informed that the backup of the proceedings of the House will also be linked to the AI backup and this will help the members find excerpts on any issue from their speech or proceedings. Members will also be able to see important debates taking place in the House.
