A hashtag has been trending on Twitter since Friday night, and now it has started appearing on the top of Twitter’s India Trend. We are talking about the #शिक्षा_मंत्री_इस्तीफा_दो hashtag that is trending on the top, with approximately 90K tweets.

Bihar Education Minister Prof Chandra Shekhar is getting trolled heavily by the people of the state, especially the teacher candidates for failing to keep his word on the restoration process.

The minister had, on Thursday, promised reinstatement of 3 lakh teachers in Bihar in a tweet. “I have signed the 7th phase teacher planning manual now. It will go to the cabinet in 2023 and more than 3 lakh jobs will be available in the Education Department. We stand by the promise of 10 lakh jobs made by the grand alliance government and will fulfil it,” he tweeted.

The teacher candidates of Bihar were waiting for the approval of the 7th phase teacher reinstatement rules from the Cabinet. But the rules could not be approved by the cabinet leaving the candidates, who were eagerly looking forward to the recruitment, disappointed.

It seems the process of recruitment is not going to start anytime soon. In such a situation, there is a lot of anger among the candidates against the education minister. They are demanding the resignation of the minister for breaking his promises. They are also getting the support of other sections of the society on Twitter as well.

Upset over the unkempt promise of the minister, the teacher candidates unleashed their anger on Twitter. In the midst of all this the education minister was found busy in a rally of the Grand Alliance. The education minister is camping in Purnia for the last few days to take stock of the preparations for the rally.

Meanwhile, big news is coming out from the education system of Bihar, that due to the Grand Alliance rally in Purnia, Purnia University has postponed the graduation part-2 examinations that were to be held on February 25 but now will be held on March 15.
