Union minister Vaishnaw visits Odisha tomorrow for slew of official progs

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will visit Odisha on tomorrow for a series of official programmes in Bhubaneswar.

During the visit, the Vaishnaw, also the Union Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology minister, will attend the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of SiCSem (Semiconductor Fabrication Unit) at Info Valley, Bhubaneswar. The project is a major step towards strengthening India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, in line with the vision of “Make in India” and “Digital India”.

Vaishnaw will also attend the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Railways and the Odisha Government at the State secretariat. The MoU aims to further enhance railway infrastructure and improve connectivity across the state.

Later, the Minister will visit Bhubaneswar Railway Station to review the ongoing redevelopment and modernisation works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
