Naib-tehsildar recruitment: Jammu objects to Urdu, Kashmir to quota share
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) issued a notification on 9 June for recruitment of 75 naib tehsildars, with Urdu designated as a compulsory subject.
The dead terrorists, Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama, had on Monday escaped after an encounter with security forces at Redbugh of the Magam area.

Two terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit were killed in an encounter with security forces on Tuesday morning near the court complex in central Kashmir’s Budgam.
ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the deceased terrorists have been identified as Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama. They had on Monday escaped after an encounter with security forces at Redbugh of the Magam area of Budgam.

The ADGP said that on specific input the joint area domination party of the Army and the Police tried to stop one suspected vehicle but terrorists fired upon and in retaliation, two terrorists were killed. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from the dead terrorists.
