Panic spread in the city on Monday after a four-line threat letter was found in the washroom of Lulu Mall, just 15 hours before the grand flag-hoisting ceremony at the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hoist the flag at the temple on Tuesday.

The letter reportedly threatened to blow up several prominent buildings and school structures in Lucknow within 24 hours. As soon as the information surfaced, Lucknow Police went on high alert and launched thorough security checks across major landmarks in the city.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Central) Jitendra Dubey said the letter mentioned multiple well-known establishments and educational institutions in the state capital. Following the threat, police teams along with dog squads and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) conducted intensive inspections at several locations, including the Hazratganj Assembly premises. Vehicles, suspicious individuals, and unattended items were also examined.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage is being analyzed to identify the person who placed the letter in the mall washroom.
