Deepak Yadav, accused of killing her daughter Radhika Yadav — the Gurugram based Tennis player — has been sent to 14 days judicial custody by a Gurugram court on Saturday.
He was produced before the concerned judge in a court on Saturday, where he was brought with his face covered.

The cops are also probing different aspects in the case including whether the murder was spontaneous, or the thought had been there in the father’s mind, as he was disturbed with the taunts made by people regarding his daughter working and he living on her income, sources said.

During initial questioning, Yadav told police that he was disturbed with the things said by people with regard to his daughter when he used to visit his village, sources said.
He had even mentioned that he had asked her daughter to drop the plans of opening an academy and provide tennis coaching, to which she had refused.
As per sources, the father was upset regarding the entire situation, which was allegedly affecting his reputation, and bringing upon stress.
According to police, the accused, her father during interrogation, had admitted being upset over his daughter giving tennis coaching and her plans regarding running a tennis academy.
It was because he was financially prosperous, and did not prefer that his daughter should run an academy.
The father-daughter duo also had arguments regarding this, police said.
Police had mentioned that so far, every other reason other than the tennis academy angle, is a rumour, while nothing more had come forward in the probe till Friday.
After the post mortem, the team of doctors confirmed gunshot wounds.
A total of five rounds had been fired from the licensed revolver by the accused, while one live round was found in the said firearm that had been seized.
Police have said that the entire investigation is being carried out in a scientific manner, and they will take future course of actions based on findings in the investigation.
Police had said on Friday that the accused admitted to committing the crime.
It was on Friday afternoon, Yadav was produced before a court, where cops sought a two-day remand, but the Judge had allowed for his questioning for a day.
Meanwhile, police sources said Radhika’s mother, Manju Yadav, has refused to give a statement on the incident.
