A day after the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) quizzed former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav in Patna, his younger son and former deputy chief minister of the state Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday reached the federal probe agency’s office in connection with the IRCTC land-for-job case.
Reportedly, Tejashwi is facing charges as an alleged beneficiary of the case with the ED claiming that some of the properties linked to the alleged scam were registered in his name.
The probe agency has also filed a chargesheet against Yadav and other family members in the Rouse Avenue Court in New Delhi and hearing in the matter is scheduled on February 9.

The ED office in Bihar capital Patna on Tuesday saw scores of RJD workers holding a dharna outside shouting slogans against the Centre with the CAPF personnel on standby for the security of the probe agency.
The ED sleuths grilled Lalu Prasad Yadav for about ten hours on Monday, beginning 11 am.
According to sources, Lalu Yadav was subjected to several questions by the probe agency officials while the RJD leader remained calm and composed during the entire questioning session.
Even on Monday, RJD supporters were present at the place in large numbers and shouted slogans against Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
