Motivating the youth on the International Youth Day, Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani on Friday said that the youth have the potential to foster the country&’s growth.
“Youth have the potential to take nation&’s growth to unprecedented heights. On Int’l Youth Day, let us strive for youth-led development,” Irani said in a tweet.

“This International Youth Day, I urge youth to send their wishes to our jawans guarding our nation against all odds,” she added.

The International Youth Day is being celebrated every year on August 12 to create awareness on youth issues worldwide. The day was first observed in 2000.
