RSS warns of threat to ‘Chicken Neck’ corridor
Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), raised serious concerns over radical groups in Bangladesh allegedly promoting narratives aimed at destabilising India.

The occasion of Vijayadashami Utsav in Nagpur witnessed a gathering organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event, known as ‘Path Sanchalan,’ holds a special place in the hearts of those who celebrate the festival of Dussehra. This year, singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Amid the celebratory atmosphere, Shankar Mahadevan extended his warm greetings to everyone on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Expressing his gratitude, he acknowledged the privilege of being invited as the Chief Guest by the RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat. “I am very honored and privileged that I have been welcomed as the chief guest at this function,” said Mahadevan, beaming with enthusiasm.
The event became a platform for Mahadevan to convey his appreciation and excitement. He expressed his eagerness to participate in the program, a sentiment that resonated with the attendees.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat took the opportunity to pay his respects to the founder of the organization, KB Hedgewar.
Mahadevan, in a gesture of reverence, offered floral tributes at the statue of KB Hedgewar.
The event also witnessed an integral ritual of ‘Shastra Pooja’ performed by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. This ritual holds deep cultural and traditional significance and is an essential part of the Vijayadashami Utsav celebration.
Among the guests were Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
In his address during the annual Vijayadashami program of the RSS, Shankar Mahadevan chose to begin with a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, a musical ode to the goddess of knowledge. This performance set a reflective and spiritual tone for his speech.
The renowned musician, a recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri award, expressed his deep admiration for the RSS and its role in preserving the cultural and ideological heritage of India. “What can I say on it? I only salute you. The contribution of the RSS is greater than anyone in preserving our ideology of ‘Akhand Bharat,’ our traditions, our culture.” Mahadevan emphasized.
