DD telecasts new prog championing Mission 2047
Telecast every Friday at 12 noon on DD National, the show has already emerged as a distinguished public interest series engaging through leaders, reformers, industry pioneers, and policy influencers.
As part of Seva Parv, a celebratory campaign launched to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting launched a series of special programs on DD National and DD News. Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, released the promos of the documentaries, here today.
Addressing the event, Vaishnaw highlighted that the documentaries released by Doordarshan and Prasar Bharati reflect the spirit of Karmayog and lifelong dedication demonstrated by the Prime Minister.

“From the very beginning, the Prime Minister has devoted himself entirely to serving the nation and society, setting aside personal interests and working tirelessly for the nation-building mission. This commitment, he noted, is a great blessing for the country and explains the significant transformations visible across India today,” he said.

Shri Vaishnaw further observed that in the past 11 years, India has witnessed tangible progress even in its remotest villages, achieving in a decade what earlier took several decades.
“Globally, India has earned a new identity and recognition in areas such as technology, creativity, social justice, and inclusive growth,” he added, stating that he began the day with a blood donation as a mark of the occasion.
The curated content on Doordarshan will bring forth inspiring stories of public service, development, and collective responsibility. DD News will showcase three documentaries at the national level, as well as the series Mera Gaon Aaj, which captures the story of development and transformation in India’s villages under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. DD National will showcase the documentary Swa se Samagra Tak. Documentaries will also be released in regional languages on the regional channels of DD News.
The documentaries and series launched at the event include; Sankalp Ki Shakti, Sushasan Ka Samarthya, Vishwa Patal par Netritva ka Shankhnaad, Karmyog – Ek Antheen Yatra, Swa Se Samagra Tak, Documentaries at the Regional Level, and Mera Gaon Aaj.
