Uttarakhand’s 700 villages will soon be connected to PMO
Now villagers from these gram panchayats will be able to avail the benefits of social welfare schemes from their places

Major Vibhuti Dhaundiyal was killed in an encounter between the security forces and terrorists in Pulwama on Monday. As the news about the death of the young officer spread, friends, relatives, and other citizens began gathering at the Dhaundiyal family residence on Dangwal Road in Dehradun on Monday.
As an Army officer informed the family members about the incident and the ultimate sacrifice made by Major Vibhuti, the news completely shattered them. Vibhuti had got married in April last year and is survived by his wife, mother, grandmother, and one sister.

Uttarakhand has lost four of its sons in four days in J&K. Earlier, two CRPF jawans, hailing from the hill state, lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack.
Major Chitresh Bisht was killed while defusing an improvised explosive device (IED) at Nowshera sector. Now, Major Vibhuti Dhaundiyal lost his life during an operation in the valley.
