The second anniversary of the consecration of Lord Shri Ramlala at the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya will be celebrated with devotion, grandeur, and religious fervour on December 31.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest at this grand event, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present.

While the consecration of Shri Ramlala took place on January 22, 2024, the anniversary is being determined according to the Hindu calendar. Following this tradition, the first anniversary was celebrated on January 11, 2025. On the occasion of the second anniversary, religious rituals will begin on December 27, 2025. The main ceremony will be held on December 31, while the worship, rituals, and other religious programmes will continue until January 2, 2026.

The worship and rituals will be conducted under the supervision of Jagadguru Madhvacharya Ji. As part of the series of programs, cultural events will begin on December 29, featuring various religious and cultural performances.
Considering the convenience and smooth movement of devotees, arrangements have been made for access to Angad Tila via Sugriva Path. On December 31, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also hoist the flag at the Maa Annapurna Temple located within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. He will participate as a special guest in the Pratishtha Dwadashi programme. Chief Minister Adityanath will also be present with him.
Gopal Ji, who is associated with the management of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, provided information about these programmes at a meeting of the organisers. He said that preparations for the event are in their final stages.
Extensive arrangements are being made in Ayodhya to welcome devotees from India and abroad and ensure smooth management of the event.
