For bringing impactful MedTech solutions to market, the Mission will provide funding support ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 50 crore to Academic and R&D institutions, Hospitals, Startups, MSMEs, the MedTech industry, and collaborations between entities, the official document noted.

The application process includes two stages; the first stage of submission of a concept note will culminate on November 7.

The mission welcomes projects aligned with national health priorities such as tuberculosis, cancer, neonatal care, primary health care, etc.

To drive the creation of indigenous medical technology, the scheme will cover a broad spectrum of innovative medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics, including equipment and key subcomponents, implants, assistive and surgical devices, consumables, and software-based medical solutions.
