Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School (RSJMS) celebrated the spirit of water and sustainability with River Fest 2025, an immersive and inspiring exhibition that placed rivers at the heart of learning. Hosted on the school premises, the event showcased the thoughtful and creative work of students from Nursery to Class 5, who explored the rivers of India through art, stories, research and performances.

As committed partners of the Yamuna River Initiative (YaRI), RSJMS undertook a hands-on summer project that culminated in a grand celebration of the cultural, ecological, and geographical significance of rivers in India. The exhibition also featured music, dance, and drama performances inspired by India’s majestic rivers, bringing together education and environmental stewardship in a vibrant display of student-led learning.

Interactive zones such as sand art, pebble painting, and a pledge wall added an engaging touch to the event, encouraging active participation from parents and visitors in fun and meaningful ways.

The Chief Guest, Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, praised the initiative and highlighted the importance of fostering environmental awareness from a young age.

Nalini Singh Rajput, Headmistress, commended the students and faculty for transforming learning into meaningful action. River Fest 2025 served as a powerful reminder of the critical role rivers play in sustaining life and echoed a collective call to protect these vital lifelines—for people and the planet.
