Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Sunday threw his weight behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA, expressing confidence in the ruling alliance’s victory in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

While Ramdev acknowledged the intense struggle in the state, he asserted that the Opposition is unable to stand against Modi.

“The struggle in Bihar is quite intense, but Modi ji has a personality as towering as the Himalayas, no one is able to stand against him. Modi ji’s image, character, and his contributions are like a divine blessing, so naturally, the balance tilts in his favour right now. Still, the ongoing struggle is good in a democracy, such contests between the ruling party and the opposition are what make democracy beautiful,” Baba Ramdev was quoted as saying by a news agency.

The Yoga Guru also slammed Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge over his demand to ban the RSS, saying they can’t defeat Modi and Amit Shah, and that is why they are targeting the Sangh.

“Ladai karni hai toh Amit Shah aur Modi ji se karo. Unko hara nahi paate hai phir RSS par abhadra tippani karte hai…(If you want to fight, then fight with Modi and Amit Shah. But they can’t defeat them and make such derogatory comments on the RSS,” Ramdev said.

Ramdev further hailed the RSS, calling it a nationalist organisation that has given birth to many great men, including Dr Hedgewar and Guru Golwalkar.

“Even today, millions of Sangh workers work for the country. When anti-national forces, anti-Sanatana forces, oppose the RSS or any Hindutva force, they have some hidden agenda and selfish motives behind it…,” he added.
