Three siblings and their cousin drown; two boys saved in Dungarpur, Rajasthan
Three siblings and their cousin drowned while two boys were rescued from an anicut in the Chorasi region of the tribal-dominated Dungarpur district in Rajasthan on Sunday.
The presentation on the proposal was made for the inclusion of the idea in “One State; One Global Destination” initiative on the second day of the National Conference of Tourism Ministers of states and the union territories here on Wednesday.

Rajasthan has proposed developing a new tourism circuit to globally showcase the tourist attractions of the lake city of Udaipur, the pilgrim city of Pushkar, and the golden city of Jaisalmer.
The presentation on the proposal was made for the inclusion of the idea in “One State; One Global Destination” initiative on the second day of the National Conference of Tourism Ministers of states and the union territories here on Wednesday.

While making the presentation, the Rajasthan Tourism Department delegation stressed the need to project the heritage tourism of Udaipur, the lake conservation model, and the luxury hospitality tourism.

The two-day event, chaired by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, held marathon discussions on developing 50 world-class tourism sites across India under the new initiative inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The ultimate goal of the initiative is to choose and develop at least one potential global tourism hub in every state that could help India in positioning itself among the top 10 tourism powers of the world.
Besides Rajasthan, the presentations from states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Gujarat were also held. The presentations by Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Uttarakhand were held on the opening day on Tuesday.
